Now Booking School Programs for Spring!

Welcome to the wonders of Shirley Place – home of Royal Governor William Shirley and Governor William Eustis!  From 1747 through 1865, the Shirley-Eustis House has seen many historical eras.  From the French and Indian Wars to the American Revolution to the War of 1812 to the Civil War – this is the perfect place to immerse and engage your students with hands-on activities that truly grab their attention and concentrate on their multiple intelligences!  We understand the ways kids learn. The activities guarantee that it will be hands-on and minds-on for all involved!

In our program brochure, you will find programs that show our commitment to education and to you, the classroom teacher!  We are here to help YOU with subjects that seem difficult to teach – our costumed historic educators can teach them in a way that your students will GET it!  We can customize any program to meet your social studies needs.  Just look specifically for the  symbol after the program name.  We reinforce the enduring social studies issues of unity and diversity; conflict and cooperation and equality and inequality.  We also support our assessment practices with “Dimensions of Learning” and “Bloom’s Taxonomy” strategies. And the best part is: You can book your program here or we can travel to you!

Please take a look at our programs - just click on the EDUCATION tab and you're there!   Our prices are very reasonable (see the back page) and our site is right around your corner – We make History Come Alive!
