accessibility

At the Shirley-Eustis House, Carriage House, and Grounds we try to be as accommodating as possible. If you need assistance or have any questions, please contact us prior to your visit.

We welcome service animals!

Mansion access:

Access to the mansion is not wheelchair accessible. Our front entrance has 15 steps to the vestibule of the mansion. Tours include the second floor which requires walking up the Great Hall staircase. Mansion bathrooms are in the basement level and are not wheelchair accessible. We have an accessible parking spot available- please call in advance so we can reserve the spot next to our entrance.

Carriage House access:

Our Carriage House is accessible and has a wheelchair-compatible bathroom. However, the path leading to the Carriage House is gravel and requires one step to enter the building. Should you require accessible parking for an event at the Carriage House, you are welcome to park in front of the building off of Rockford Street. Please call in advance so we can reserve a spot.
