In 18th and 19th century Roxbury, the landscape was full of wealthy statesmen who thought of themselves as scientific and agricultural innovators - but what roles did these men play in agro-science discoveries? Who truly deserves credit for their findings? What impact did their work have on gardening, horticulture, and the fruits that sit on our kitchen counters today?
