tours and visits

The orchards, gardens, and grounds are free and open to the public year-round, from dawn until dusk. Our administrative offices are open from 9AM - 3PM, Monday through Friday.

Parking is available on Shirley Street and in the gravel lot next to the Carriage House on Rockford Street.

PUBLIC TOURS

To join a tour, please check in at the office in the back of the mansion by ringing the doorbell.

  • Winter schedule: public tours are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 10am and 12pm. Check the calendar on our homepage for up-to-date availability. If a tour is shown there, it is still open and anyone is welcome to join. No advance reservation required. Saturday tours are available by appointment only. Please contact us to schedule a Saturday tour.

private and group tours

  • Private and group tours are still available by appointment. Use the form below, call our office at (617)-442-2275, or email programs@shirleyeustishouse.org to plan your group’s visit.

Admission

  • $10 for adults

  • $5 for students, seniors (65+) and local Roxbury & Dorchester residents

  • Free for members of the Shirley-Eustis House Association

  • Free for active-duty military personnel and their families.

  • Free for EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare card holders and their families. 

We are proud to participate in the Card to Culture Program, a collaboration between Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, and Massachusetts Health Connector, by broadening accessibility to cultural programming. We offer free admission to tours for EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders and their families, as well as 20% off tickets to all scheduled events. These benefits apply to the person holding the card and their family. See the full list of participating organizations offering EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare discounts.

By touring the Mansion, Carriage House, and Grounds you agree to allow use of images intended for promotional use of the museum.  We respect your privacy so if you would like to opt out please let us know by contacting us with your name and the date and time of your visit.
